Practical products, enquiring minds, sustainable local livelihoods
Our intention is to always sell practical, useful products that help us reduce our overall impact on the world – from insulating boards to washable nappies – at the most affordable prices whilst still ensuring a sustainable income for our many suppliers (many of whom we will have met personally and discussed our ethos with when negotiating prices, quality & supply).
We run the Bristol Green Store to provide all of us with the chance to learn more about the options and solutions available without being ‘marketed’ at, so we can make our own choices and be in control of our own decisions – we are not here to cash in on the ‘eco buck’ or to ‘greenwash’ anybody – so we do not inflate prices, sell you things you don’t need, or run with any underpriced loss-leaders.
We also don’t focus only on ‘bought in’ products. We’re just as happy to hear you’ve made your own cleaning products as we are if you come & get refills of our range. Our intention and desire is to create a financially and socially sustainable project earning a viable income so that it can grow in impact and usefulness, without doing so at the expense of our world around us.
